AGRIBUSINESS

AUSTRALASEAN

The term agribusiness is used to refer to economic activities derived from or connected to farm products. In other words, crop production, as well as crop processing, transportation, distribution and import export. Agriculture and all of its economic, social and demographic derivatives… a sector that has an impact on practically all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

AustralAsean's agribusiness is based directly on its ionic and polymer stabilisation business, and grew from our use of polymers to stabilise mines and roads in remote areas, across Australia and the Asia Pacific.

As a by product of our environmental stabilisation formula Geo-Ionic Plus, produced our partner project innovations in Australia we discovered that we could incorporate seeds, fertiliser and even water into the polymer mix in order to grow ground cover to alleviate erosion even in arid climates.

A natural evolution was to experiment with this concept for growing other plants such as crops and even vegetables. This business is in the development stage however we are collaborating with Khon Kaen University (Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น) to develop a proof of concept and early trials are very promising.
